Lechat Dare to Wear Color Me Autumn

Press Sample

It's fall!!!! Not only for the calendar, but finally in the weather. Now it's supposed to be in the 80s this week (NOT normal for NYC), but I was excited to have an amazing weekend, going to farms, my college town, and wearing a denim jacket! YES. I want layers! So to celebrate layers, I have the Lechat Dare to Wear Color Me Autumn Collection which I am digging!

Lechat Dare to Wear Color Me Autumn

Bittersweet: 2 coats. This is a super shiny rich, deep burgundy. This is perfectly autumn and will be my next pedicure! It's super shiny without top coat. It's not groundbreaking, but what I like is that there isn't too much black. Every time I see these colors, companies make them soo dark, and I just don't gravitate towards this. This is perfectly burgundy.

Brown Sugar: 2 coats. They call this a warm undertone brown, but I think this pulls a bit mauve and pink on me. I don't mind. Again, I think this is great for the autumn theme. I can imagine this looking gorgeous on any skin tone. I'm loving it and the formula.

Brushed Blush: 3 coats (2 had a tiny bit of VNL). This is sort of bright for a fall collection, but after I did art with it, I saw how it fit it. It's like those random bright spots of pinks in leaves (at least my leaves). It's super squishy!

Cashmere: 3 coats.  Like Brown Sugar, the amount of pink that will pull in this color depends on your skin tone. It's a pale dusty rose color, but it's sort of beige-y pink on me. I'm one of those people who seems to always love these type of colors. The formula can be a two coater, if you paint with that in mind. I tend to paint thinner coats.

Harvest Moon: 3 coats. Lechat calls this a bright, spiced orange and I love that description. Have you ever looked at pumpkin out of the can? This is totally it! It's bright, but that spiced element. All the colors in the collection are super shiny and squishy. Because of that, like many of the colors, I had a tiny bit of VNL at two coats, but three did the job. This, of course, depends on your nail length.

Painted Maple: 2 coats. My current pedi! I prefer cremes on my toes, and when I saw this, I knew it would be my next pedi. Then I'll probably go for Bittersweet. Painted Maple is a rich red. It has enough orange in it that it's not your basic standard red. Clearly, I love this.

  6. Even though Cashmere doesn't seem very fall like it's one I want to wear. My skin looks good with that kind of pink.

  9. I love Brown Sugar. Mauvey neutrals look decent on my skintone as well, and I prefer those to the orangey or brown-based neutrals for daily wear.
