Stella Chroma Where the Sky Meets the Ocean, Group Custom

Press Sample

It's really nice when makers take into consideration what their customers want. In the Stella Chroma Facebook Group, Pam, the owner and creator, set up polls and let us choose what color we wanted with the finish! I'm not sure I even voted for blue (I probably was a lone vote for yellow haha), but I do love the end result!

Where the Sky Meets the Ocean: 2 coats. The base color chosen was obviously blue, and the finish was with aurora shimmer and flakes. Well, that's all in here. It's a vibrant sapphire blue base, loaded with sparkly aurora shimmer that shifts from blue to green to yellow. Then there's yellow to green shifting flakes as well. It totally gives me ocean vibes. I wore this for a while, and did not experience any staining.

My swivel around the office chair photo shows off the brilliant green to gold shift of the shimmer. It's so luscious and rich.

As if you could not already see the shimmer, here it is in direct sunlight. In the sun, you can see some VNL, but you couldn't in person. The shimmer is loaded in there and so sparkly (but this dries completely smooth to touch).

The flakes remind me of fish that are popping through the ocean. I just get a very deep ocean, Finding Nemo vibe from this polish and I'm loving it.

I knew that with the loads of aurora shimmer and flakes, that this color would be beautiful matte. Doesn't it just pop off the polish? For some reason, I imagine glowing jelly fish swimming deep underwater.
