Born Pretty Unicorn Flakes over Pastel Gradient

Press Sample

I have more unicorn flakes today! If you remember, or need a refresher, I posted color #5 HERE. I was so hyped up over them! I still am. I definitely need to place an order for the other 4 colors, but these flakes have everything!

Firstly, here's the flakes. It comes with a protective seal, and in a baggy, so you won't get spills! I could stare just at the flakes!

I decided to do a light bit of the flakes over a gradient. As I gushed about the Lechat English Rose collection earlier this week, I did a gradient of Cucumber Mint and Violet Rose. I chose those colors since they are the prominent colors in this flakes (#2). This one has a green shimmer vs #5 which had a pink!

Here it is in the sun! I did my gradient as normal and then I added a coat of sticky base and used the applicator to put on the flakes. I wanted to use less flakes so my gradient wouldn't be fully covered up. The green shimmer is so awesome over the green and transforms over the purple! There's also holo flakes! I used two coats of top coat to make it all smooth.

If this manicure doesn't scream spring, then I don't know what does! I love how this came out.

These flakes are amazing! I love them when they are lightly placed over a gradient like here or fully blown over my nails like HERE. They retail for $1.59 for 0.1g or $2.49 for 0.2g. I need the rest of the colors. You can find them HERE. Find other chameleon flakes on the site HERE. Don't forget to use PDX31 for 10% off Born Pretty purchases.
