Revisiting KBShimmer Cores

Press Sample

As you must know by now, KBShimmer has a new look! I selected a few core colors to revisit and swatch, and so you get the benefit of seeing them. Sometimes, we get so focused on the new, we forget the awesome catalog of core colors. So I chose some I had wanted for a while, and I'm so glad I got to test it out!
Revisiting KBShimmer Cores

Eclipse: 1-2 coats. I never wear black polish on its own like this, but I do go through bottles and bottles of black polish since I use them a lot for nail art and stamping. This is a great go-to black creme! It's opaque enough in 1 coat for art, 2 if I wore it alone.

Garnet: 2 coats.  This color is a beautiful right red garnet color. It's part of the birthstone collection, so the color is reminiscent of the birthstone AND filled with metallic flakes. The color just sparkles!

Hint of Manila: 3 coats plus top coat. This was on my wish list forever. Last year, at Polish Con, I was nice and waited to buy what I wanted until the end of the night, and of course, this polish sold out! It's a soft tan polish with loads of holo glitter. I am a huge fans of sparkly neutrals, so I adore this and the entire Office Space collection.

Night Bright: 2 coats plus top coat. Black polish with loads of holo microglitter? Sign me up. I got this one because I really don't have too many black sparkly polishes. I really loved the look of this on. It's so sparkly! I sort of want to slap this on my toes!

Sapphire: 2 coats plus top coat. This is from the same collection as Garnet. It's a super sparkly navy with metallic flakes. It definitely reminds me of a Sapphire. So beautiful!

  11. Sapphire is stunning. It makes a galaxy mani on its own, without any embellishments, and the light reflections look like constellations.
