So I just got back from vacation and I wanted to share a few go to products I used, while also sharing my nails. I wanted to share a wear test, but also thought I would tell you about some products I used! Below is a small portion of what I saw over two weeks! Devil's Tower, Yellowstone Geysers, Badlands National Park, and I fed a prairie dog!
I put a polish on July 24th and it is gorgeous. Unfortunately, I can't show you that polish just yet! My first manicure lasted July 24th-August 1! That's 8 days! Then at like 11pm on August 1st, I switched my manicure to Stella Chroma Blackberry Mint Moscow Mule!
I chose Stella Chroma because I'm always saying how it wears like iron on me. So below is a picture I took on August 9th before I removed it. I put it on August 1st and removed it August 9. Beyond some natural growth at the cuticle line, no chips. Like really...none. Zoom in. My right hand was totally unchipped too! Whatever Stella Chroma puts into their polish just WORKS with my body chemistry!
Ok, so here's the shampoo and conditioner I brought! The conditioner is actually called a hair mask. I finished both and I don't save empty bottles, lol, so here's a full one. I only had one hair mask and two shampoos!
This is Biotop Professional Keratin Impact Shampoo (and Hair Mask not shown). I got these samples from Cosmoprof last year and I like how they are 1 fl oz vs half of that. I brought this to use every few days to alternate with whatever the hotel had. I was on a road trip, so I was being low maintenance.
This shampoo made my hair feel refreshed and so nice! It smelled great too. My hair felt thicker too, which my thin hair loved. The only downside was that the scent goes away really fast. After a day, my hair smelt like the elements. Whomp.
Bath and Body Works Shower Gel. Soap bars tighten my skin so I brought one of these gels. I have a million of these, as do you, because of the freebie coupons they always send out! This one was perfect for 2 people to share for 2 weeks! We finished the whole thing!
The scent I used was Pretty as a Peach, but again, I tossed the bottle (well recycled!). I usually grab the peach scents so my boyfriend can use it without it being too feminine. This is apparently another peach scent I grabbed! The shower gel lathers really well and was perfect for 2 weeks.
Ok, so those are two beauty items I used while traveling. What are your must haves? Would you like more posts like this? I'm thinking of sharing my must-have makeup staples from when I was on vacation. I brought SIX, yes just SIX, makeup items on my trip and it was perfect.
While the Stella Chroma was from July's Polish Pickup, I highly suggest you head over to her shop and grab some others! Search Paint Box Polish and Stella Chroma on my blog for swatches of most of their offerings! Use EHMKAY for 15% off your order! This is a non-affiliate code, and it's just to pass on savings to you!
