This brush is a detangling brush on one side, and a compact mirror on the other.

They say this brush detangles on all hair types. I have very straight, long hair. I used it on a variety of days. One was after I had my hair in braids and another after a long workout. It definitely smoothed out my hair pain free.

The bristles feel really nice. I love the way detangling brushes feel in my hair.

I was hoping there was opposing colors in each one, but it varies. The Raspberry color comes with raspberry filling. So maybe that's the theme. There's a lemon pistachio and the colors coordinate. The macaron also comes in yellow, green, purple, and other colors.

I used Morgan Taylor Plumette with Excitement with match my Milk and Sass Hair Macaron. Now, here's how huge they are. I have to disagree with it being bite site. It's just as bulky as my normal brush, but it has a cover so it's nice for my purse. I don't have small hands either. This is big.

I mimicked the bristles with Morgan Taylor Hip Hot Coral.

So I do like the brushes, but they really aren't bite sized. It's pretty bulky in a smaller purse, but it's perfect for travel since it's cleaner. Also, just to mention, communication with the company was lacking. They initially asked if I would like to review in July 2016 after Cosmoprof. It wasn't until they emailed to see them at Cosmoprof 2017 that I mentioned I had never heard back from them after agreeing to review (yes, I did followup before then). It doesn't change the quality of product, which is great, but I feel it's important to mention this.
The macarons retail for $12.99 and I think that's very fair. The brush feels great and it is high quality.

Considering I've had a pixie-like cut for the last 10 years,I haven't had the need for a detangling brush in forever. I am considering letting my hair grow so we'll see how it goes! I like the mani you created!
ReplyDeleteWow! I've had super long hair since I last chopped it all off (like 7 years ago) so I love these types of brushes!
DeleteMy kid uses stuff like these for her hair when she gets out of the shower. They have become a lifesaver. She'd get a kick out of this with the mirror though. I love the manicure you did to go with them!
ReplyDeleteI know kids need detangling brushes more than I do! I had to coordinate with my beauty products!
DeleteYou and your magical inspiration coming out of ordinary products... I can't. You're too good! I need one of those brushes, too!
ReplyDeleteHaha well I can't just post a beauty product without a manicure! And the colors lined up so well! The brushes are so cute.
DeleteI have the tangle teezer from the U.K. That I love too! But this one has a compact so it's perfect on the go.
ReplyDeleteThis is a pretty neat idea, and I love your matching mani.
ReplyDeleteI have really tangly hair - this might be great for travel for me. Love the nail art, too!
