Press Sample
My first day I stopped by Josie Natori backstage. Fashion Week backstage is super hectic, crowded, and hot! Of course, it was humid and raining on and off, but I still had fun indoors, as evidenced by my poor selfie (I HATE taking selfies!).
Josie Natori chose a neutral polish, Zoya Chantal, because it works on all skin tones and creates a nude nail. Zoya is promoting their naked Manicure set this season, and all manicures has a base of Naked Mani so Chantal would go on smoothly. Check out the mini set of Naked Manicure, which will be on sale for the Christmas season!
Models getting prepped!
Tome chose to do a Trixie French, where the free edge of the nail was silver instead of white, a modern take on the classic French!

And after her mani!
I had heard backstage for press is not about looking glamorous but I rocked a sleeveless black and white button drop with black skinny jeans and black pointy-toed flats. Black is very much an East Coast thing. (I realized this when I was in Denver this summer and was wearing mostly black and got many looks.) I needed a pop of color so red lips and red nails! I chose Zoya Janel as my base from the new Focus collection. I then did a scalloped French tip with Zoya Ember from the Flair Collection. No special tools needed, simply use the polish brush to create the scallops.
Zoya Nail Polish is available HERE on their web site. Polishes retail for $9 each. Make sure to like Zoya on Facebook so you are always up to date with new collections.
