Morgan Taylor The Rocky Horror Picture Show 40th Anniversary Celebration Set |
The collection comes in a themed box with iconic images from the film. I love how these kits look in the boxes; they make for great gifts.
All White Now: 3 coats. This is a basic white creme. I personally can never have too many white cremes in my stash for nail art. This one needed three coats to level out. I topped it with one coat of top coat.

Glow in the Dark Top Coat: 2 coats over All White Now. This is a new polish to the Morgan Taylor Collection. The bottle is so bright when it glows, it can be a night light! It's very sheer so you probably won't want to wear it alone. When you apply it, use as few brushstrokes as possible since it is streaky once it glows.

Pretty Woman: 1-2 coats plus top coat. This is your classic bright red creme. Nice formula, but not exactly unique. If I didn't take pictures, this looked completely opaque in one coat, so that's great news!

Little Black Dress: 1 coat plus top coat. Like white cremes, I can never have enough black cremes for nail art. This is a typical black creme but has a perfect one coat formula, which is a big bonus!

While the colors in this set aren't very unique, and especially not for The Rocky Horror Picture Show, this is a great set for someone just beginning to get into nail polish. All the colors are classic and the red and black cremes are one coaters.

It's nice with a black one-coater, the white should be too ;)
ReplyDeleteLove the red!
I do wish the white had a more opaque formula like the black. I'm forever in search of a white coat white. The red is a great classic!
