Tulip and Dandelion Floral Nail Art

Contains Press Samples

Happy June everyone!! I actually meant to post this earlier and then saw it was sitting in my drafts, so whoops. I want to share some art from May that I have not gotten around to sharing, but I just love how it came out! I don't know what all these flowers are, but it is a mix of flowers for this nail art!

I saw a look with these colors on Pinterest, but of course I modified what I saw on Pinterest to fit my own capabilities and time limits. I do love Pinterest for helping me mix together colors that I might not normally put together. Blue and pink with a neutral color seems so odd, but I love it in this look.

I love the color combo of the muted neutral, the bright blue and red, and a sort of dulled pinky mauve. It is a great balance for the look!

  • Blue: Jessica Cosmetics Blue
  • Red: Jessica Cosmetics Broadway Bound
  • Coral: Morgan Taylor Perfect Landing
  • White: KBShimmer White Here White Now

I also like the different methods with a little bit of gradient tips, which I haven’t done in a while. I also like the additions of the line work and the random dots. I think the fact that I wasn’t going for something that was too realistic also helped as it seems sort of like pop art, especially with that bright blue.

Here is the nail art with normal indoor lighting. I like the pops of white against the neutral base too as it helps make it more spring and summery.

Well, that was way too many photos, but I absolutely love this nail art so I hope you enjoyed it too.
