I realized that Easter was coming up and I had a few ideas for Easter nail art. Of course time was of the essence because it is this weekend so here is the first of two looks that I hope to get done. I went full spring for this one.
I found a complicated look on Pinterest and simplified it for my needs. That’s what I love about nail art. A lot of people do them on fakenails and then glue them on so it’s easier to paint really complicated looks. Since these are my real nails, which you can clearly tell because I keep breaking them, I simplified for myself. I loved the idea of the daisies and the gingham all working together. I changed up some of the nails for ease, but this still took me an hour and it felt like forever.
As usual, I spent way too long picking out colors and then I ended up denting a nail and having to redo it so although I do think this looks really cute, it was pretty frustrating lol. I had to remind myself to take pictures of it the next day because I made such a mess while actually doing this that I had nail polish all over my hands. It was like my first time doing nail art lol.
- Green: Sinful Colors Olympia
- Pinks: Zoya Maddy and Palmer
- Yellows: Zoya Bee and Jessica Cosmetics Yellow
- Off-white: Jessica Cosmetics Hydrangea
- Blue: Jessica Cosmetics Blueberry Creme
- White: KBShimmer White Here White Now
If these don’t scream spring, then I don’t know what will. I am officially entering pastel life.
For reference, here is what I did on my thumb. I was tired so these got a little messy. I think my rule now is that I cannot start my nails past 7:30 at night lol!
