KBShimmer Yummy Gummies Hand & Body Scrub - $11 – No Cap
Yummy Gummies Hand & Body Scrub has the fruity scent notes of your favorite gummy treats. Top notes of lemon, lime, blueberry, and raspberry offer a light citrus start to this fragrance. Notes of berries and pineapple juice follow, all anchored with a hint of sweet vanilla. This colorful scrub is swirled with bright blue, purple, green, and red, for a fun fruity twist as pleasing to the eye as it is to the nose!
I was sooo excited for this scent as I thought or at least hoped it would similar to my favorite rainbow shaved ice (which I still wish came in cuticle oil--that scent was "ripe fruits like orange, peach, and raspberry give way to hints of sour lemon, vanilla sugar, and wild strawberry jam."). This one is much sweeter and I actually felt the vanilla overpowered the fruit. That being said, I do think this will be a big hit.
KBShimmer Too Hot To Handle Nail Polish - $13 – No Cap
Too Hot To Handle is a boldly colored orange-red jelly nail polish. Loaded with gold to orange flakes and coordinating shimmer, this polish is flaming hot. We loved the coverage in two coats, but adding a third will amplify the flakes, offering a look so close to the real thing, you’ll be tempted to take a bite!
Too Hot To Handle: 2 coats plus top coat. This is such a fun color. We had a heat wave in our area last week where it was 90°. Typically that would not be a typical heat wave but the law states that he must stay on through May so it was boiling. Putting on this color just helped me embrace how hot it was. The coverage was great, but I will say my bottle had a completely wonky, misshapen brush, making application difficult. I did let the brand know, and it was definitely a one off. Because of the brush there was some patchy spots that applied uneven. I still decided to do this as my entire manicure and it was super spicy. I loved this color, but I will say it was chippy on me. Worth it!
The sun was out so of course I grabbed some pictures to show off the sparkle! I love the chunky gold flakes (but they are completely smooth on the nails) and the shifting shimmer. There's enough holo glitter to sparkle without overwhelming the shimmer. This is a gorgeous color. The golden shimmer really shows in indirect sun and the shade.
