This is another one of those August nail arts I did, but never got around to showing. I was actually inspired by a pair of Old Navy toddler's rain boots which I wish they had in my size. Rainbow gradients and glitter? Sign me up! This was another one of those manis that I wore until it chipped, 10 days! I just got so busy and enjoyed what I was wearing.

Of course, my niece said these look like cotton candy. She always says that. But I can totally imagine a carnival with one of those stands that has all the different cotton candy colors. Add some sparkle, and you can see why any four year old would love these nails. She's not quite patient enough for a gradient but she does love her nails painted! I am not even patient enough for this; cleaning up gradients like this is the worst, even with a latex barrier!

I love neon pastels and naturally, I always reach for my KBShimmers. If you don't have them, they are the best pastel neons around! I started with one coat of KBShimmer White Here White Now, because it is an excellent base.
Then in order on the brush, I added a stripe of each color below from cuticle to tip and dabbed it over the white!

I wanted a subtle sparkle, so I used Lechat Dare to Wear Private Party over the gradient because it has holo and iridescent vs just holo. I think I did two extremely light coats because I did not want to cover up the gorgeous gradient!

I wore this for TEN DAYS! My left hand was basically perfect when I removed it but my righty was a mess lol because that's my dominant hand but oh my, this was amazing! I feel like this is my end of neon summer manis and what a great way to say goodbye to summer.
