Apparently, it's deja vu here as we are back with Cocktails and Mocktails again! I remember this theme from 2017 (had to look it up on my blog). I guess people love this theme so much, they wanted it again. Well, again, we have such diversity from the makers! People get so creative with these themes, even when they've already done it! And next month is the rewind, so you'll get to revisit some oldies!

Blueberry Ginger Fizz Mocktail: 3 thin coats plus top coat--you could do 2 thicker coats.

Inspiration & Color Description: Blueberry Ginger Fizz Mocktai. This is a deep blurple with orange and purple shimmer and sparkly flecks.
Thoughts: This one is so pretty! I love the rich blurple color. The blue and purple shimmers really stand out against the base color. And in the sun, it's really sparkly and transforms into a purple. Really purple!

Summer Nights starts with the scent of a blended tropical drink. Juicy
pineapple is the star of the show, while subtle supporting notes of
coconut and mango give way to the sweet heat of spiced rum. You can
almost smell the warmth you feel after a sip of the Captain, adding
depth and heat to this unique scent. Accented by soft swirls of peach,
cream, and gold, this scrub mimics the frozen look of your favorite
blender drinks for a tropical tub-time treat.
Thoughts: Honestly, my first whiff of this--all I smelled was alcohol. I think scents are so subjective! I really smell spiced rum and peaches when I smell this. My darling also said he smelled the same thing! He said it was like a summer alcoholic drink! I really like it. There is certainly some warmth to it. For me, the coconut was more upfront than the pineapple.

Secret Menu: 3 coats plus top coat. 2 coats has the tiniest VNL. Dries down satin.

Inspiration & Color Description: Secret Menu is
inspired by the aptly named, "Pink Purple Drink." Secret Menu starts
with an indigo base that quickly shifts to a bold purple and berry-like
fuchsia. At some angles, a siren-like green shows, while in different
lighting you may see hints of lime or a softer pink. This shifty shade
is a must-have for purple lovers.
Thoughts: This is another one for the purple polish lovers! It's a brighter purple, so it gives me summer vibes! This one is so shimmery. The shift is more subtle in this one. The green is at extreme angles but it is there!

"The Sangria Margarita from La Gloria, a
beautiful, authentic Mexican restaurant found in the Pearl Brewery area
of San Antonio, Texas. My husband and I fell in 100% LOVE with San
Antonio when we visited for the October 2019 TIS. One of my best
memories of the trip is an amazing afternoon spent dining by the
riverside at La Gloria, enjoying this epic margarita and some of the
best Mexican cuisine we’ve ever had. A neon red crelly filled with flakes that shift orange, gold, red, and green."
Thoughts: This one is pulling more pink on me, so your undertones will dictate where you get more pink or more red! I do think the base is more unique and I love that it is red. I am digging these flake polishes from Lollipop (just like her anniversary quad!). The flakes really shift the rainbow!

Scent: "Fresh, juicy watermelon. Pure and simple. The perfect summer treat. Is it soaked in vodka? Maybe. But remember this one’s for the grownups.

Thoughts: I.love.this.so.much. It sort of reminds me of a watermelon jolly rancher, but it's not AS sweet as that sounds. It's just the essence of watermelon, not the sugar of jolly ranchers. I want to swim in this, thank youuuu.

Do This Again, Old Fashioned: 3 coats plus top coat, then matte. 2 coats will do for shorter nails.

Inspiration & Color Description: "This shade is inspired by Don Draper’s signature drink, the Old
Fashioned. A sheer, deep orange jelly base has as many
yellow/orange/green flakies as I could fit, a strong yellow/orange
shifting shimmer, and red holographic glitters to symbolize those
cherries. ;)"
Thoughts: Fun fact: I watched all of
Mad Men except the final season. What is wrong with me? And now it's been so long, I feel like I need to rewatch the whole series. But I did love the show and I totally picture Don Draper, sitting in his office, or the fancy steakhouse he always went to, and having this drink. I also have to say I love this color. I truly feel Stella Chroma kicked it out of the park! I really love this orangey copper and the finish is perfection! You'll be sad if you skip this one.
