There's been a serious deficit of neons and neon collections this summer, and Morgan Taylor is here to the rescue. I actually don't often wear plain neon nails, but I LOVE neons for nail art and pedicures. The Make a Splash collection is awesome. If you remember, I shared some neon geometric art last week that I wore for 7 days with no chips! Neons normally don't have great formulas, but woo hoo for this collection!

Feeling Swim-sical: 2 coats plus top coat. This.color.is.the.hardest.color.to.photograph. I actually went outside in the shade and got the most accurate I could get. It's a neon teal and it's super bright and awesome, but my camera kept pulling blue indoors. This is pretty accurate as it is definitely a teal. I had it on for a while because I was seriously photographing this everywhere, and it didn't stain.

Flamingo Float: 3 coats. At two coats, I had a bit of VNL, but shorter nails or nails with a less opaque free edge will be fine at 2. YESSSSS to this color. It's definitely my favorite. It's a super bring coral with silver shimmer. It's gorgeous.

Flip Flops and Tube Tops: 2 coats. This is the second shimmer of the collection, and it's also a delicious shimmer. It makes me almost wish that Morgan Taylor did this entire collection of neon shimmers because these two are just so good! This is a hot bubblegum pink with lots of shimmer

Limonade in the Shade: 3 coats plus top coat. Give me all the neon greens. I probably have a dozen and honestly couldn't be sick of them. It's like how people are obsessed with purple. I love neon green!

One Piece or Two?: 2 coats plus top coat. This is a super rich neon purple. It's actually the most neon purple I've seen. Usually neon purples are just sort of bright but not neon, but this one is truly neon!

You've Got Tan-gerine Lines: 3 coats plus top coat. I also love neon oranges and I think this one would be amazzzzzing with the shimmer that's in Flamingo Float. But I do love this and it's definitely a tangerine orange and eye-searing.

Cellophane Top coat: 1 coat over each of the neon cremes. This is a pink/blue/shimmer top coat but as I used it as a base in my neon art, it's nice on its own. It will never be opaque, but it adds a gorgeous sparkle. It is dense. I love it over the orange the most. So pretty! The base color determines which shimmer color will pop! I even see green and gold in some of it.

The Make a Splash collection is available now. I'm so glad that I finally got my summer neon fix and I'll be reaching for these all summer. They wear really well on me and I do love all the colors!

I love neons so much - especially as a pedicure. Also I love that you don't have to use a white base coat on these and they are so pigmented and bright!
