With cherry blossom season in full bloom (see what I did there), I finally got around to cherry blossom art! I wore this manicure from April 23-April 30! And yes, I have a wear test for you. But between Polish Pickup and other reviews, I'm posting this a week later. My parent's cherry blossom tree finally bloomed this weekend, and I think it's because it was super cold for most of April. I had hoped to take a picture with them, but oh well!

I had posted the Morgan Taylor Royal Temptations collection back in March and planned to come back to do nail art. I did one gradient which I loved, but I wanted to come back to this collection before I started posting summer (and I have 3 summer collections already!). Check out the full collection swatches HERE.
I used 4/7 colors from the Royal Temptations collection.
I started with a base of Curls and Pearls, which is a nice off white/light pink colors. Then I did a gradient with Ruffle Those Feathers, a pale turquoise creme. I used Caviar On Ice from their Winter Thrill of the Chill collection to create branches. I simply used a striping brush for random stripes.

I finally used All My Hearts Desires as the base of my cherry blossoms and Beauty Marks the Spot for the center of them. I was thinking I probably should have reversed those colors, but everyone figured out what these were. I topped it with one coat of top coat.

Here we are a week later, right before I removed the manicure. Besides some growth, I had just a bit of tip wear. Even on my right hand, there were no chips. Just some minor tip wear. Morgan Taylor cremes really wear like iron on me!

Since I stopped by my parent's house this weekend, I wanted to share some pictures of their gorgeous cherry blossom tree. I look forward to seeing it every year!
So what do you think of this art!? I posted preview to the Morgan Taylor Make a Splash summer collection HERE but I'm happy I squeezed in one more spring art. I hope you're ready for a neon explosion on this blog soon!
