Easter Pastel Stripes Nail Art

Partial Press Sample

Good evening! I actually did these nails on Saturday and fully intended on posting them, but decided I needed the weekend off. I'm actually still wearing these! I was actually incredibly fickle on what I wanted to wear on my nails and so I went with an easy go to. Is it my best art ever? Nope. Do I like them? Yea, sure. Are my nails too long? Maybe. I have already filed them down like 6 days ago, and then are just growing like mad. When they break, I'll be sure to complain on here lol.

I started with a base of Lechat French Vanilla on my nails. Then I used Violet Rose, Royal Tea, Cucumber Mint, and Chamomile and did random stripes down my nails. Then, I used coordinating Kiko Sugar Matte Pastel Textures and went over those. This sort of gives a speckled dyed egg feel. It's pastel and springy, that's for sure. It was super appropriate for the sun this morning. Le sigh.

I miss textures! I'm going to pulling the out more. It was such a favorite finish when it came out and I bought a tone. I purposely only did one top coat layer so I could still feel some. I love it.

I keep using The English Rose collection because I love them. They are available now for $6.95 each. And don't we agree--time to bring back the texture polishes?

  5. This is a really great way to do a unblended gradient! It's very creative and I like the springy colors.

  6. Wow thank you! I love my long nails in person, but something think they aren't the greatest photographed! I'll stick with them a bit longer.
