Le Polish A Great Miracle Happened There, December Polish Pickup

Press Sample

Today is exciting because I have a new Polish Pickup from a brand I've never used before. Le Polish has been around for a while, and it's purely my fault that I haven't tried them before! What's even more awesome is that this polish is Chanukah-themed! There really aren't many Chanukah polishes out there. The few I did have were glitter top coats named Eight Crazy Nights. While I love Adam Sandler for repping the Jews with a song, eh. So I love the more inspirational name for this polish!

A Great Miracle Happened There: 2 coats plus top coat.  So this polish is a dusty denim blue, with a smattering of holo, copper to pink shimmer, and iridescent glitter (in both square and hexes). This polish is so complex, yet, it all works together! I really love how this looks and it is super unique in my stash.

The name is for the miracle of lights! Chanukah is the festival of lights. The Jews only had a tiny bit of oil that should have lasted one night, but instead, it lasted eight! This is obviously a very shortened version of the holiday, but definitely look it up if you are interested. The saying "A Great Miracle Happened There" is on the driedels, which is what we play with during the holiday. Nes Gadol Haya Sham--the miracle happened in Israel.

Fun fact! In Israel, their dreidels say Nes Gadol Haya Po. Po means "here" in Hebrew. All I want is a dreidel from Israel, but I was there in May so there were none!

Check out the complex holo, iridescent glitters, and gorgeous shimmer in the sunlight! It's like gold and copper pink shimmer!

I just love the iridescent glitter. It's just enough! I like that it's not so much that the polish becomes chunky.

With all the complexities in this polish, I had to matte it. IT'S SO BEAUTIFUL!

I had to do a little nail art for the polish inspiration. As I said, the polish named is what is on the dreidel! Nes Gadol Haya Sham. In Hebrew, you read right to left (the opposite of English), so I've done that here! Nes is on my pinky, Gadol is on my ring, Haya is on my middle, and Sham is on my index. My Hebrew isn't so pretty anymore, but this is legible still!

Isn't this just so beautiful? I can't believe this was my first Le Polish and if you haven't tried this brand, what better way than to grab this exclusive polish? This will be available through Polish Pickup December 1st - December 4th.
