OH hello Tuesday! The weather is getting brisk and Stella Chroma has new Late Fall collection coming out this Friday! Not only was this collection a collaboration with Mr. Stella Chroma, it speaks to Stella Chroma's home! I love the story behind the collection, so I'm just going to post what Pam has to say! Mr STELLA CHROMA and I teamed up to design this collection inspired by animals we see in out woods at our home in Indiana. I was shocked when he told me that these animals we love watching were once endangered here. I know bald eagles are still very rare to see, but deer? Turkeys? Those guys are everywhere! Sure enough, he was right. Years ago, deer, turkeys, foxes, and eagles were endangered in Indiana. So, we made this collection. And through the end of the year, a portion of sales from these polishes will be donated to the Indiana Wildlife Federation!
Deer Abby: 3 coats plus top coat. This one I actually put back on and wore with some art (check back tomorrow!). I adore this color! To me, it's an off white creme, that has the faintest bit of yellow undertones so that it's not a stark white. It has a smattering of copper holo. Pam says this color is "Modeled after the beautiful antlers seen on male deer in the summer and fall. Fun fact! Deer shed their antlers once a year - usually in the winter to late spring - and they regrow in the summer." Hey Pam, I DID know that! I found one in my parents' backyard! And they live right outside Manhattan!

Sight For Soar Eyes: 2 coats plus top coat. This is soooo perfect for late fall! It's a chocolate brown with orange shimmer and flakies that appear almost holo. This is based on the body of a bald eagle and I think it's spot on!

Ugly Peacock: 2 coats plus top coat. Awwww poor turkey. I do think you're super pretty in your own way! This is a brown-based green that shifts to green and gold. It also looks like there's flakies in it, but it's subtle. I love this with Sight for Soar Eyes. It screams "turn me into nail art!"

In the sun, the gold base really shows and you can see some sparkle! It also looks like there's some orange shimmer.

Whiskey Tango Fox: 2 coats plus top coat. This is the perfect reddened orange fox color. Like, spot on! It's filled with holo flakes, and it's awesome!

ReplyDeleteWell, they live 15 minutes outside Manhattan but it's metropolitan! They think a deer was lost and kept hanging around their back yard and then it shed the antler and left! I kept it! Is that gross? LOL.
