Girly Bits Autumn Cremes, Swatches and Review

Let me start off with the formula. These really are all one coaters. BUT, many of them, I did two, because my ridges were showing. If you were going to wear them on their own, I would use a ridge smoothing base coat. Now for art and stamping, one coat is all you need! That's why I love these so much! They dry fast but not too fast and make art a breeze. They also make for super quick manicures! There's no top coat for any of these, because they are so shiny!

Hit and Mist: 2 coats. This is one that was perfect in one coat, but showed off my ridges. This is the perfect standard grey with blue undertones. I love it!

Butternut Leave Me: 2 coats. I already have a seriously dent in this bottle because I can't stop using it! It's the perfect mustard crème. I love everything about it. Definitely one of my favorites.

Walnuts About You: 1 coat. This is a very friendly brown, meaning I think it will look good on anyone. It's not too brown for the non-brown lovers either. There's just enough grey in it to make it totally wearable. I've stamped with this one and it's great.

It's Near Leaf Fall: 2 coats. Oh man, do I love this green! To me, it has just enough yellow undertones to make it perfect for fall, yet, it's totally awesome for spring. It's really a beautiful shade of dusty but not too dusty green.

Getting Figgy with It: 1 coat. This is a rich, brown-undertoned purple. Totally fig colored, so this is the perfect name. Another winner for me. The reason why I love one coaters is because I can slap this on, and in a few minutes, add loose flakes or powders. They would be gorgeous over this purple.

Another Brick in the Fall: 2 coats. This brick red is perfect for foxes! Remember my fox nail art?! This is another huge winner in my book. This is a totally wearable red for me and I adore it. Excellent formula!

Greyzed and Confused: 2 coats.  I just love these greys with slight blue undertones. This one is obviously much deeper and darker than Hit and Mist, but it's wonderful. I'm actually removing my manicure today to do some art with both of these greys. I plan on stamping too! I love this!

Acornucopia: 2 coats. I used this one for my acorn manicure, because DUH! This one is more purple than Walnuts About You, and darker.  It's really beautiful. It's just purple enough but is still independent from Getting Figgy with It.

Sea You Next Fall: 1 coat. This is a rich decadent blue! This has some grey undertones, making it perfect for fall. This was the base of my owl nail art, and when I removed it, I had minor staining. I fully expected this with such a pigmented color. It actually wasn't bad, and came off with cuticle remover, but I thought I would let you know!

Stump Up the Jam: 1 coat. I also have a big dent in this bottle. I've been stamping with it, using it for art, as a base to my autumn flakie mani the other day. I'm not a black polish girl, and the fact that this is a darkened brown makes it much wearable for me. It's been great for all uses of art. In fact, this whole collection is so amazing, I think I need to sit down and test out water marbling!

So there's the 10 gorgeous colors! You don't want to skip these! I've used these in nail arts (not just the two I mentioned earlier) but as bases for flakies (YAY FOR ONE COATERS), and other art. It's truly hard for me to pick a favorite, because I've been reaching for all of these over the past two weeks. I say you deserve a splurge, and to get the whole set!

Right now, you can get Girly Bits products for 25% off and if you order over $50 today, you can a special free Black Friday polish! Below is a break down of the other sales. Image courtesy of Girly Bits.
