I'm continuing Fall with more fall collections! I have to say, Morgan Taylor's Fall 2016 was one of my absolute favorites last fall. It's still one of my favorite collections! So I had super high expectations for this fall collection. So let's take a look.
Morgan Taylor Matadora Collection, Swatches and Review |
All Tango'd Up: 2 coats. This is the deeper red of the two reds in the collection. It's almost like a rich red wine, which totally fits the theme of the collection.

Danced and Sang-ria: 2 coats. This is a super vampy purple creme. It's so vampy that it's almost black. On the first coat, you can see the purple, but it disappears. Good thing my nails broke, because I only like these colors on my shorties.

Don't Break My Corazon: 1-2 coats. This is a bright red creme that has a hint of orange. This, again, goes with the theme. I totally see this as the perfect holiday red.

Drawing a Blanco: 3 coats. Again, this seems really holiday to me. It's a white shimmer polish. Be careful, or it will be brushstrokes all over.

Mauve Your Feet: 1- 2 coats. This is what I am talking about!! This is very clearly my favorite of the collection, and it reminds me of fall. I love the dustiness and the original color.

Ole My Way: 2 coats. This is the second blackened color, this time a navy blue shimmer. The shimmer in this one softens how deep the color is.

Overall, this collection does bum me out for fall. The colors have excellent formulas but I really get a holiday feel, not an autumn feel. Vampy reds, frosty whites, deep colors---that's totally holiday! But they did stick with their theme of Matadora, and so, I praise that. Mauve Your Feet is my absolute favorite.
The Matadora Collection is available now and retails for $9. The collection is also available in Gelish, which lucky you, I have a set to give away! This giveaway is US only, since I am shipping it.
