Jessica Cosmetics Phenom #Instastyle Mandala Nail Art

Press Sample

Remember when everyone was going crazy over those intricate mandala stones, painted in rainbow colors? Well, I've taken that concept for a muted fall color palette, featuring the #Instastyle collection. Good news: it doesn't take that long to do a simple mandala-like manicure when you limit your color palette. Let's take a look!

First, I want to say I did stamp with these so they do work with stamping. I'm not showing it to you because the image turned out lame, haha. But they stamp!

I used a base of #OutfitOfTheDay, which is the muted berry fuchsia color. I thought it would help act as the base for the two darker colors.

I used #LoveThisLook first and put a larger dot in the center of my nail (or what looked to be the center). Then I alternated circles of dots using #LoveThisLook and #Streetwear. I showed you how glossy these are in my swatches HERE, so I wanted to take this time to show it matte!

Because these polishes are so opaque, it really didn't take very long to create this look. I didn't have to go over any colors with more dots and then worked well. I think you can see how this trio looks together. Muted, but gorgeous. Each polish retails for $11.00 and can be purchased at the links below.

  5. I'm not usually a fan of matte shades, but this wonderful design looks like both the background shade and dots are done with matte polishes - and I absolutely love the look!
