Hello to a brand new week! I'm kind of in shock that it's basically mid July already. Summer is basically over haha. Okay, I'll slow down! Jessica Cosmetics has a Phenom collection, which I've shown before. Phenom is like gel without the curing. It's supposed to last for 14 days! Now, I can't remember the last time I wore a manicure more than 7 days, but this polish definitely lasts on my nails!

Dancing Queens is the newest collection for Phenom. It consists of three shimmers in coral, purple, and pink.

She's Got the Moves: 2 coats plus Phenom Finale Shine. This is described as a bright sparkling orange, but it totally pulls more pink on me. Compared to Last Dance, you can see it's not as pink, but definitely has a coral vibe.

Do the Hustle: 3 coats plus Phenom Finale Shine. This is a shimmery purple with magenta and violet undertones. You can see the pretty flecks in this one! I love how vibrant it is! The flecks almost create a blue shimmer together.

Last Dance: 2 coats plus Phenom Finale Shine. This is the hot pink shimmer! It's very clearly much more pink than She's Got the Moves.

I played around with the polishes to see how they layer! Of course, because they are shimmers, I knew it wouldn't be totally opaque but it looks really cool!

I then did this simple look to see how the polishes appear over black. You can definitely do fun nail art with these shimmers over dark polish! They look awesome over the darker color!

ReplyDeleteThat is a seriously impressive wear-time claim. I wonder if it would last even longer on toes. As for the collection, I'm really digging the Dancing Queen theme. I think they did a fantastic job bringing that to life.
ReplyDeleteI just don't ever find myself wearing polish for 14 days. I will be going on a trip though, and will probably put on one of their cremes to test it out. The shimmers definitely go with the theme
