Born Pretty Violet Galaxy

Press Sample

Good Morning! By now, I'm on a plane, off to start my vacation. I have lots scheduled though, so I'll still be around! I needed to share this polish with you, because you need to get it. I'm in love. Let's let the pictures speak for themselves.

Born Pretty Violet Galaxy

Violet Galaxy: 3 coats plus top coat. Ok, so this is my first time trying out Born Pretty polishes. Hi, I need all the colors in the flakie finish. This is Violet Galaxy and it is JUST AMAZING! It's a multichrome shifting flake polish. You can layer this, but nope, I wanted flakes in full force. It's really just beautiful. I'm amazed by it.

Oh hello magenta, orange, yellow, green, and blue.

Outside in the shade, oooooooohhhhh baby. This is so pretty and I can't believe the quality of it! Now, you can always layer this over black, but the balding wasn't bad at all and I like it how it is.

It's just as shifty in the sunlight!

I just love the dimension of this flat! I was going to stamp over it, but it's just too pretty!

  1. All I have to say is wow. I would slap a gel clear coat over that and wear it for weeks.

  3. What was your thought on the smell? I've heard some of the BPS polishes have a horrid smell.

    1. No smell beyond normal polish smell! I think the actual BP line is what we know and love from polish and it's the off brands that can have the smell (I reviewed a different brand I got from BP and it was terrible).

  5. That is so gorgeous! The bare spots aren't that noticeable, and standard for this style of polish. Try sponging on the last layer :)

    1. I know it can definitely be opaque if you want it too. I just wanted to see how it was normally. I'm happy and def happy for $5!

  6. BPS did a great job with ensuring these could easily be used on their own without sponging!
