Born Pretty Peel Off White Nail Polish Review

Press Sample

So if you are into nail art or stamping, you know how important it is to have an opaque white! So when I saw this peel off white polish, I was totally intrigued!

Born Pretty Peel Off White Nail Polish Review

So the listing for this says "Bottle Peel Off Nail Polish 10ml Candy Color Green Clear White Black Eco-friendly Varnish Polish" and I chose white. I was so excited at the idea of a peel off white! I mean, YES to art and chunky glitters!

Take a look at the white with ONE coat below. It dried fast and this would be great for a gradient!

Here it is at two coats. It's truly a great opaque white.

Now the downside. This polish smells. I mean SMELLS. I don't know what eco-friendly means in the listing, but I can't imagine how this is 3 free.

I decided my test would be the ultimate glitter bomb. Remember when OPI came out with the Muppets collection and everyone went nuts for Rainbow Collection? I pulled that gorgeous baby out and slapped on two coats. The base is a bit tinted now, but oh well! I also figured the smell would be masked by the OPI.

Unfortunately, my test didn't go well. After 20 minutes, the smell was too strong, and I just wasn't having it. Because the manicure wasn't fully dried, I cannot attest to the peel off part. It is an opaque white though, I bet it stamps, but it is really strong. Make sure you use it with caution!

Born Pretty has tons of nail polishes in different finishes, and I've read some great reviews of them. This polish retails for $2.31, comes in four colors, and can be found HERE. You can find other polishes and nail art tools HERE.

If you want to place an order at Born Pretty, you can get 10% off your order with the discount code PDX31 at checkout. As always, shipping is free.

  1. Too bad the smell was so strong that you couldn't even go through with it! It's interesting that they've got this product now though, the only other place I've seen coloured peel-off bases is from Dance Legend.

    1. I may give it another try and see if I was just having a day. But the smell just wouldn't go away on my nail. Yes I've seen the dance legend one and I may have to grab it.

  2. I was wondering how well this worked, but if the smell is as bad as you say, I don't think I can handle that. Thanks for the review!

    1. I know some people aren't bothered by smell though, so this would be great for then.

    1. Yea, and I couldn't get top coat or glitter to take away from it. So I knew I had to take it off. :-/

  9. Such a bummer about the smell! There are plenty of nice 3-free white creams out there!
