Halloween Nail Art: Glow in the Dark Sugar Skull Nail Art with Morgan Taylor Dia De Los Muertos

Press Sample

More Halloween Art! Last week, I shared swatches of the Morgan Taylor Dia de Los Muertos set, which includes 3 cremes and a glow top coat! They have such awesome art on the packaging, I just knew I had to do some! Well, then a friend sent me an awesome sugar skull stamping plate, so it was perfect timing!

I started with a base of 2 coats of All White Now, a crisp white creme! Then I added 2 coats of the Glow Top Coat. I added two because I wanted extra glow!

Using Uberchic Beauty Sugar Skulls plate and Morgan Taylor Little Black Dress, I stamped on four different sugar skull images. I was really impressed with the black polish for stamping! This plate has a lot of fine lines and it picked it up wonderfully. Lastly, I used Shock Therapy to add dots around the images, as sugar skulls frequently have additional adornment.

I topped it off with my favorite matte top coat. I can't even express how much I love this mani in the dark!

Now check these out! These are not edited at all! Glow in the dark photos do tend to come out grainy, but look at how the faces peek through! So cool!

    1. The plate is awesome, but a lot of the images need to be shrunk or will be partials. These were the smallest images.

I totally knew it would stamp! I went back and forth between stamping two in black and two in Shock therapy but ultimately went with all black!

    1. My friend gifted me the plate. The etching is so deep enough for some of the images but it still came out nice. I wish the images were also smaller! I have long nails but not wide
