Halloween Nail Art: Bats and Full Moon Art with KbShimmer Fall 2016

Press Sample

It's October!!! That means it's the month of my favorite holiday and I'm kicking off October with my first Halloween nail art featuring four polishes from the latest Fall 2016 collection from KbShimmer. I showed you swatches of these four polishes alone HERE and I mentioned you would get bat glitter with your order of Fright This Way. Well here is how I used them!

To complete this art:

1. I began with three thin coats of KbShimmer Fright this Way, which is a black jelly polish with purple hex and microglitter.

2. With Tiers of Joy, I painted a giant circle on my middle nail to represent a full moon. Tiers of Joy is perfect for the moon! Moons aren't strictly white. Your circle also doesn't have to be perfect because moons have craters!

3. Using Turning Point and Orchidding Me, I directly blobbed on some "clouds" around the moon. It's like sparkly fog!

4. Add your purple bat glitter and then a coat of KbShimmer matte top coat!

What do you think of my overall look? Even though only one of these polishes was promoted as a Halloween polish, I think the four work perfectly together! The bat glitters are super fun for an overnight manicure (if you have curved nails, they won't be fully flat). I really love this look to jumpstart Halloween season! Are you ready for it!? Have you picked up any of these polishes??
