Today I'm sharing with you a new-to-me nail polish and care e-tailer. I'm really excited to share Live Love Polish and this beautiful Seche Polish with you! Plus I did a little nail art to coordinate with the polish name.

First, I just wanted to share their packaging. It's is the ultimate girly packaging! Pink bubble mailer, pink shipping slip, pink tissue wrap and sticker. I love a good theme.

Seche Portobello is a creamy brown polish with a wonderful formula. It was completely opaque and shiny in two coats. It didn't need the top coat, but I used one coat of Seche Vite. Portobello is a buttery, rich brown creme nail polish. It had a great formula and was a great first impression of the Seche Polish brand.

I then got a little cheeky with the nail art. Since portobellos are a type of mushroom, I grabbed some funky mushroom water decals I had and applied them to my nails. I then used a striper brush and two green cremes to add grass. Simple but cute!

Like most people, I know of the Seche brand because of their famous top coat: Seche Vite. This is something I recommend to all my friends who love doing their nails but say the polish "never dries." I have converted colleagues, friends, and family with this top coat. It is super shiny and dries my polish in minutes. It also doesn't smudge my nail art.  There's a few tricks to using this top coat though:

1. Use one coat over WET polish. Do not wait 5-10 for your polish to partially dry and then top coat. When you do that, you may encounter "shrinkage" (what looks like tip wear).

2. Use only one coat of top coat unless more is needed. Too many coats of top coat can cause your manicure to chip.

3. When the top coat is halfway to 2/3 empty, it can get gloopy. Nail polish thinner (like Seche Restore) will fix this problem.

There you have it! While I have been a user of Seche Vite for a long time, this was my first time using the brand's nail polish and I'm super impressed.

Live Love Polish has a huge variety on products on their website HERE.  You can find their entire Seche Collection as well as other polishes.  Live Love Polish also has free shipping over $20; how amazing is that?
