Gena Hydrating Cuticle Gel and Massage Lotion

Press Sample

With the weather cooling down, our hands and cuticles take a beating, even when wearing gloves. For great nails and skin, moisture is key. Today I have some products from a new-to-me company that has actually been around for quite some time. These products work great, smell great, and the price point is amazing. And if you don't like cuticle oil, trust me when I say you will LOVE this cuticle gel.

Gena Hydrating Cuticle Gel and Massage Lotion

I am so glad I got to try these products because they are really moisturizing and I love the smell. As you can see in my photos, both items contain argan oil, which is super hydrating for skin. You can also see the big grapefruit on both bottles. The scent is very natural and refreshing. I really enjoy that these products are not artificially scented.

Gena Hydrating Cuticle Gel and Massage Lotion

First, the Hydrating Cuticle Gel. In a market that is drowning in cuticle oils, this product really stands out. It is a thick gel so you can place just the right amount and it is not messy since it stays where you want it to be until you rub it in.

Here are my nails with absolutely no moisture. If you're curious, I'm wearing China Glaze Flip Flop Fantasy on my nails, which is China Glaze's number one selling neon polish! (And meet my new nail shape!) My cuticles aren't too bad right now but that is because it is so cold, I load up on moisturizing. But you can still see my cuticles are a little rough.

I used the dropper to place some gel on my nails. You can see how thick it is! I hope my hand up when I take photos and it is not drooping. The second photo is my nails with the gel rubbed it. It is not greasy or sticky at all. It is really wonderful.

The massage lotion is HUGE! Look at it! I love the pump bottle too. The lotion smells just like the cuticle gel, a wonderful grapefruit (and actually BOTH products have real grapefruit in it as per the ingredients). The lotion is a great thickness as you can see and my hand was brightened after the use and fully moisturized. I didn't feel the need to reapply all day!

Gena products can be found at Sally Beauty Supply stores but there is a small variety of Gena products sold on their online store. You can find out about the variety of products on the Gena web site.  I remember the company mentioning all their products were under $10 and I think the gel was $4-$5 and you get a lot!

Products in the post were provided for honest review.
