China Glaze Loco-Motive Halloween Nail Art |
Loco-motive is a clear-based grey glitter in microglitter and smaller hexes. There are accents of orange/copper glitters that sometimes appear pink, but for me, mostly orange/copper (the pink comes out in the shade). Loco-motive is extremely versatile as I have used it on its own, as a gradient, and as a one-coat glitter.
To pull this look together, I used two coats of China Glaze Haunting on my index and thumb. Haunting is from the Halloween 2011 collection and the sparkly silver flecks in the black base make it one of my favorite black polishes. I then used China Glaze Riveting on my thumb and middle. Riveting is an amazing gold shimmered orange from the Capitol Colors collection in 2012.

I did one coat of Loco-Motive over my thumb and pinky. I used the tip of the polish brush to do a gradient on my index and middle. On my ring finger, I did three coats of Loco-Motive on its own.

I really love Loco-Motive for its versatility and color combo. As you can see, it is dense enough to build up on its own but also is perfect for gradients. The color combination isn't solely Halloween either. I can see myself pulling out this sparkly glitter all year! I love taking out my older polishes too. These are some of my favorites from previous collections.
