I have been wanting to try out ruffle nail art for a while, and it is so easy! I think the trick is to use opaque polishes so one coat is all you need. I also wanted a way to use holographic polishes in nail art. I love the look of holographic polishes but I can never leave them alone. This was a great way to use them without covering up the gorgeous rainbow flash. Read more below for more details

Using China Glaze QT (magenta), TTYL (peach), and TMI (pink), I created this ultra girly ruffle look. I started with a coat of QT because it was the darkest color I was using. I have heard of the OMG colors having a terrible formula, but I had no issues!
Then I dripped some polish on tin foil and using a dotting tool, I dotted lines of each color across my nails. I thought this would take forever, but it was pretty streamlined and wasn't any more laborious than other nail art.

I want to do this in all the colors of the rainbow now! Maybe even a holo rainbow version? YES!
