Nothing to Disclose
Oh you knew Pusheen was going to be Halloween-based this month. You had to know it. I decided to be all out ridiculous and well, it didn't perfectly work out. Nail art is fun for me though, and it's all about trying things!

This month's calendar image is all sorts of inspiration. Does that grave look familiar? It's my Zombie Graveyard from Day 1!
Tomorrow's manicure is also inspired by this image!

I started with a base of one coat of a black creme.
Then I used one of my all time favorite Halloween polishes, Orly R.I.P. A few weeks ago, I pulled out some of my favorite Halloween polishes because I love to wear them during the season! I then put on matte top coat.

I then outlined ghosts in a white polish. I added sticky base coat, one nail at a time, to each ghost, and dipped it into flocking powder. I actually did this a few years ago and wanted to re-create it. Well, I forgot how hard it is to paint over flocking powder! But can you spot the Pusheen ghost?!

At first, I was disappointed in my manicure, but it's growing on me. Actually, it's pretty darn cute! October Pusheen is adorable.

These are so cute! I'm still way jealous of your free hand skills.
ReplyDeleteWell, these are simple, but it was the painting over the flocking powder that was a problem!
DeleteThis is ADORABLE!! Way better than mine would have been, all my free hand art looks like blobs 😂
ReplyDeleteLuckily, ghosts are just blobs! So you can easily do this :)
DeleteSo cute! I thought of you when I saw a Pusheen themed polish for November PPP.
ReplyDeleteI saw it! Believe it or not, one of my KBShimmer prototypes was very similar, so I have something like it already!
