Stella Chroma Granny's Attic, November Polish Pickup

Hi everyone. Polish Pickup returns this Friday and I am just sharing a quick post so that you can grab this polish as it is available this weekend. I am so happy to see that Stella Chroma is back and it’s with this super gorgeous offering. Check out the rest of my post for lots of photos. 

 

 

Granny's Attic - $15 - No Cap 

I can remember exploring my grandma's attic as a kid and seeing what I thought was the absolute fanciest and surely most expensive lamp in existence! It was mauve with a glass base that had painted blue flowers on it. The shade was mauve silk and domed with scalloped edges and it had creamy white fringe hanging down all around it. Knowing what I know now, It wasn't the fanciest or most expensive lamp in existence! But it inspired a beautiful polish. Granny's Attic is a soft, mauve pink with a blue shimmer that flashes bright in the light. It's highlighted with silver holographic flakies. 

Granny's Attic: 3 thin coats. I could have stopped at two coats if I weren’t taking pictures, but there was the slightest visible nail line on my index and ring. This is the exact type of sparkling neutral that I love. It has fairly visible blue shimmer in person, but it wanted to hide in the photographs. The sun was failing, and I could see the shimmer and all its glory but again because it was a failing sun. It did not show up in pictures. I love the holo flecks in this as these are my favorite additions to a nail polish. Overall, this is a really pretty color and sure it is a sort of grandmother mauve, but it’s updated in the best ways.
