New Jersey Devils Nail Art

Oh hello there! Mr. Ehmkay won a crazy ultimate fan experience with the NJ Devils and we were told we would be on the Jumbotron and all this stuff, so naturally he was like, do some themed nails. You don’t have to tell me twice! I love a themed nail. We’ve been to a good amount of Devils games, but never on a Jumbotron haha. I have to say, everyone was obsessed and impressed by my nails. So let’s get to it.

 

The Devils are having a moment right now as Jack Hughes scored the winning goal to win the gold medal for the Olympics. I actually got to watch the entire team on ice level while they practiced and we high fived them as they entered the game. We even had lunch and a tour by a former player. It was such a fun day! 

I obviously was inspired by the Devils logo and jersey! The stripes are on the classic jersey and I added the logo. Holy cow the logo was difficult! I managed to do it on both hands too. While it is not perfect, I think it is perfectly identifiable.

I went with classic Devils colors so this was a very simple look! I chose three reliable cremes from brands I use all the time! This red was my first pic and it was the perfect choice.

Like I said above, I mimicked the strip on the jersey on my outer nails, which happened to be the jersey I wore. I tried and almost succeeded with drawing the Devils logo (and yes, I did it on both hands!), and then the classic red accent nail. Originally I was going to do a red to black gradient, but I’m glad I kept it simple.

Of course I had to take some pics of my nails with some logos. I am a Jersey girl through and through so I loved this sign made of hockey sticks. They didn’t win the game but hey, my nails won the day!
