Zoya Frankie, July Color of the Month

Today I have the Zoya color of the month and it is perfect for summer. I am bummed that June did not have a color of the month because I wanted to see what they would create for my birthday haha. But this color is summer awesome for July so let's take a look.

Summer's here, and the hottest season deserves a nail color that packs a punch, not one that whispers apologies. Enter Frankie, Zoya's July Color of the Month, a neon hot watermelon red that's basically summer bottled up in a single swipe. Forget the predictable reds of yesterday. Frankie's a juicy explosion of color, the kind that makes you think of biting into a perfectly chilled slice of watermelon on a scorching day. Frankie contains some neon pigment so it will dry matte and requires a topcoat for maximum brightness.

Frankie: 2 coats plus top coat. I am not one who is usually comfortable with a straight red nail but something about the orange/pink undertones of this red just makes it totally wearable. Reds like this always show visible nail line for me so I stopped at two coats, but the visible nail line did not bother me at all. This is the absolute perfect pedicure color and you can fight me on it but you will not win lol. It is just a really pretty red with an excellent formula. Because of the nature of this red, it absolutely does stain, so make sure that you are wearing base coat to protect your beauties.

 

 

The shade pictures are to show how this looks a bit pink! I cannot explain how this color looks, but I think the pictures below are the most accurate. Either way, it is a bright, neon red. If that is your jam, there you def want this!

 

 

Here are the photos with indoor lighting as it pulls more orange. This is a really shifty red as sometimes it appears more orange and sometimes it appears more pink, so I wanted to share it in all lighting.
