Hello everyone! I cannot believe tomorrow is the last day of 2021. I wanted to share my yearly recap of my Pusheen manicures for the year. It is fun to take a stroll down memory lane and remind myself of all the Pusheen art I have done! This was my fifth year of doing Pusheen art and it has been a great ride! Next year's calendar really is not the greatest and definitely not inspirational haha. I loved all the seasonal and fun looks over the last five years though! So let's take a look.

I will say I did visit every single light display and window display in NYC before Christmas and that is quite an accomplishment. I love to try and take collections and create art based off of them. The KBShimmer in good spirits collection was 12 colors, so I had to select a few in order to make my nail artwork. I just knew that some of the colors would be perfect together and then it turns out the KB shimmer polish pick up color for December was total perfection. So I put them together to create this festive Holly nail art.

Good evening, all. I have so many ideas for nail art but then I put one on, love it, and keep it on for a week. This is the case with this manicure which I am dubbing a Christmas plaid. Some of the colors in the Zoya Nostalgic collection just screamed holidays despite it being a fall collection.  So I put them together to create this festive plaid art. Let's get to it!

Hello everyone! I am continuing my catch-up of fall collections today with Zoya Nostalgic. Honestly fall and winter have similar palettes to me, so it's all good. In fact, I am wearing a holiday nail art right now with these colors. This collection has such a beautiful formula and it makes me really enjoy the colors!

Jessica Cosmetics Meet For Drinks? Fall 2021

 Jessica Cosmetics has a new fall line called Meet For Drinks? which inspired by cocktails. Why not?! This 6-piece collection has 5 cremes and one metallic. Yes, it might be December and I am sharing a fall collection, but these are transitional colors. I never stick entirely to seasonal colors but really fall and winter overlap quite a bit. Let's check these out.

Happy fifth night of Hanukkah! I wanted to get in one more nail art before I moved on to some other holiday nail art. I had put aside the Jessica Cosmetics collection to do some nail art with since some of the colors were perfect for Hanukkah. So here we go with some festive dreidels.

This year, Chanukah is super early! Last night, the 28th, was the first night. So I had a day off from Thanksgiving before turning around to make another huge meal. If you did not know, potato latkes are the main show for Chanukah. They are so tiring to make haha, but worth it! Anyway, I wanted to do some simple nail art for the holiday, and I knew immediately the Stella Chroma Vintage Holiday Glam Collection would be perfection.

I love the idea of leopard pumpkins. I absolutely love to do leopard nail art and I am all about that Halloween and pumpkin season! I had purchased the two OPI polishes last December, just waiting to use this for this fall! I have already worn both as a pedicure, which is what made me grab one of them. The perfect orange! KBShimmer had to take a little break during the fall season but they are back in full force with this giant 12-piece holiday collection! For the first time in a long time, I have not been able to get swatches and son or shade and this is some thing that I have to get used to. With a new full-time job in daylight savings, I depend on weekends to Swatch which just isn’t always reliable. Plus, I can’t control the weather and the two weekends I had to swatch this collection, I had a wedding, a bar mitzvah, and a wedding anniversary,. The one day I had free, it poured. Lol. Here we are. HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!! I have to say, I felt meh on nail art and just nails in general. I broke my nail and it took like 6 weeks to grow back. I forgot how to swatch. I just was eh. But this challenge that I only challenged myself for LOL really gave me my much needed oomph back and I loved doing all this art! And for today, I literally went into left field for my Halloween manicure. I wanted something soft and sophisticated.

Orange and yellow together just scream pumpkins and Jack O’Lanterns and spoooky lit within.  When was the last time you carved a pumpkin? It is definitely been some time since I have actually done the carving but I always grab a pumpkin for decoration. I have been really feeling stamping this season so what originally planned to be fully handpainted, had a last-minute change and I love how it came out.

Good day all. I love all of my Halloween stamping plates and I really love the images that have a mishmash of all Halloween icons. I have a few different versions but in the end I chose one that has the most diversity in its images. this plate has a witch, pumpkin, ghost, the broom, a cat, spiderwebs, pitchforks, owls, and more. Seriously, what more can you ask for?

So last year I got a bag of Hershey kisses for Halloween that had the cutest motives as the rappers. They were green, blue, purple and had spooky characters on them. So I've been pretty quiet on the blog front because I had a massive nail break on my swatch hand and just haven't wanted to swatch anything at all. In fact, couple that with my new full-time job, two graduate class, and just trying to enjoy autumn, and I am finding it difficult to do anything beyond a quick mani.

I am currently behind on Pusheen art and have two months to do (three including October). I also have a fabulous list of Halloween art that I had already wanted to start mid September, but honestly, won't, because of my broken nail. I also have 2 Zoya collections, an oldDuri fall collection, Stella Chroma Fall, and more to swatch.

So I feel sort of defeated.
