I love to try and take collections and create art based off of them. The KBShimmer in good spirits collection was 12 colors, so I had to select a few in order to make my nail artwork. I just knew that some of the colors would be perfect together and then it turns out the KB shimmer polish pick up color for December was total perfection. So I put them together to create this festive Holly nail art.
I wore this until it basically completely chipped off. I have to say, it has been really difficult for me to blog lately. I am doing my nails, but I just have not been inspired to post about them, which is a bummer. I absolutely loved wearing these and pushed myself to share them!
I started with a base of fizz the season since it is a neutral champagne color and the colors would pop off of it.
- Base: Fizz the Season
- Holly berry base: Chai-huahua
- Holly berry shimmer: Totally Stoked
- Holly leaf base: Thyme of My Hands
- Holly leaf shimmer: Take a Bough
- Off-White creme accent lines
I wanted to use mostly KBShimmers and some of her new ones and I love how this came together! The cremes help the holo shimmers pop!
I love how simply and effective holly berries are. This is festive but not so in your face. I think it was gorgeous and I love how the bits of creme make this look pop. The base was the perfect color for this too!
