Oh hello there! This is going to be a huge post, so take a seat and relax as you look at the newest collection from KBShimmer! After KBShimmer released Sol What, which was the PPU shade in March 2020, fan clamored for the finish in more colors! And after a mystery bag revealed Sol Blue, fans really wanted more polishes in that finish! So here it is! The Endless Summer collection is comprised of 8 new shades (plus Sol Blue if you did not grab it!) that are filled with holo flakes and super shifty iridescent flakes. I mentioned in the fan group that I took 552 pictures of this collection, so here's how I narrowed it down!

Here's a message from Christy, the maker behind KBShimmer,

"Each summer is unique, but this summer especially so; seeming almost endless, what with the start of it not being quite defined by school letting out and stay-cations being all the rage (or should I say, requirement?). The Endless Summer collection celebrates the little things that can help us enjoy this unique summer, like grilling, popsicles, and Taco Tuesdays! These eight bold nail polish shades feature a jelly base accented by color-shifting flakes. The flakes shift from a fiery orange, a warm gold and grass green, with some showing off hints of blues and reds. Micro holographic flakes shine bright, completing this summery collection."

As a note, I took photos in multiple lightings. Most are in this order: OTT light, indirect normal room lights, direct sun, shade. And for these type of polishes, thin coats are better so you can have more flakes! So many of the colors are opaque in two coats, but I liked to add a third thin for more flake goodness!

Anything Is Popsicle: 3 coats but really you only need 2 coats. I did a thin third for extra flakes. "Cherry popsicles, orange push pops, cartoon-shaped treats with gumball eyes - anything was possible when standing in front of that truck with cash in hand! Anything Is Popsicle is a nod to those lip-staining treats. A pink-leaning cherry jelly base is loaded with micro holographic flakes for blinding sparkle in the sun, while lower lighting lets the rainbow color-shifting flakes come out to play." I love the shade of this red. This really allows the flakes to pop. It is a great summery color. Loaded with flakes, like all the shades!

Are You Kitten Me?: 3 coats. "We prefer to be out seeing friends and family, enjoying restaurants, and finding hidden gems at our favorite boutiques, but thank goodness for streaming services where we get to pick up our remotes and get sucked into other people’s drama! Are You Kitten Me? is a nod to those hours of streaming we all do. This orange jelly is punched up with loads of color-shifting flakes, showing off hues of copper, gold and green. Tiny holographic flakes add a loose linear sparkle that shows best in the sun, for a fun manicure to wear if you ever get to see those tigers." I love this color although I wish it were a darker orange. On its own, it almost leans pink on me, so it might be more orange depending on your skin tone.

Living My Zest Life: 3 coats, but 2 coats for shorter nails. "I’ve spent more time cleaning my house these past few months than I ever have before. I think there’s a permanent citrus smell from all the lemon-scented cleaners. Yellow bottles and canisters haunt my dreams, but at least my floors are gleaming, my windows sparkle...Living My Zest Life is a lemon-yellow jelly loaded with color-shifting flakes that boldly shift from orange to gold to lime, with hints of Kelly green and aqua. The sun shows off micro holo flakes for a striking-looking manicure indoors or out!" This is shiftier in person. I love this yellow! Yellow gets such a bad rep but it is a gorgeous color. This is leaning on yellow gold, so I feel like it will be flattering on most skin tones.

Something To Taco ‘Bout: 2-3 coats. I say that because I stopped swatching to do something and then genuinely could not remember how many coats I did. My bad. "I’ve never been a fan of cooking; eating out and ordering in was my go-to when it was my turn to provide dinner. But, “Taco Tuesdays” were always an easy favorite to enjoy at home! Now that we have shifted from eating out to cooking, Something To Taco ‘Bout is a chartreuse-leaning lime green jelly loaded with color-shifting flakes. From cheddar orange to guac green, these flakes show off a yummy combo of colors. Micro holographic flakes provide a loose linear sparkle for a drool-worthy manicure out in the sun!" Similar to Are You Kitten Me?, I wish this were a darker shade of green. I still like the color, but it does look similar to Living My Zest Life. If you did not look at them next to each other, you might confuse them. I love green, so I wish they were darker! Also, the flakes are so close to the base color that the flake shift was not as apparent in my photos as it is in person.

Pretty Shore: 3 coats. "Many dream of clear Caribbean waters, lush sand beaches, and tropical drinks in their hands. I’m pretty sure that instead, blow-up pools and hard seltzers in local backyards will be as close to a vacation many will get this year. Pretty Shore is a nod to the tropical locales to which most of us wish we could travel. Aqua blue in hue, this jelly is loaded with color-shifting flakes that show off shades of orange, gold and green. Micro holo flakes sparkle in bright light like the sun reflecting off the water." This is my favorite of the collection! The base just explode the rainbow shifts and it is awesome. It reminds me of a mermaid in the water and I cannot wait to put this back on and do some fun art!

Sol Blue: 2 coats. This is not officially a part of the Endless Summer Collection. This was a prototype of Sol What, a Polish Pickup shade. It was sold as a mystery shade and then people loved it so much, Christy released it. Then everyone asked for even more shades in this finish and that is how we got this color! It's a great blueberry berry, loaded with those same awesome flakes!

Zoom With A View: 3 coats. 2 had the tiniest VNL on my opaque nails. "As people moved from working in the office to working from home, in-person meetings were quickly replaced with Zoom meetings. Friends and family also embraced video calls to the point where hopping on a video chat became part of everyone’s daily routine. Zoom With A View is a not-quite-purple, but also not-quite-royal-blue shade of periwinkle. Against this deep-colored jelly, color-shifting flakes show off a prism of hues from coppery reds to bright aqua to lush lime greens. Micro holographic flakes dance in the light, showing off a loose linear holo flame." All right everyone, this is my next favorite! This is shocking because I am so not a purple polish person, and I just love this periwinkle purple shade! Also, I am so tired of Zoom. I say this as I am about to teach a Zoom class for students haha. I also had a 6 hour zoom meeting today. I am zoom'ed out. But I love this polish.

A Love-Heat Relationship: 3 coats. "Those first summer days, we can’t wait to rush outside to enjoy the warm breeze and welcoming rays. Then the breeze goes away, the heat keeps rising, and the A/C beckons us back inside as we remember why autumn is our favorite season. A Love-Heat Relationship nail polish is inspired by those dog days of summer. A pale champagne, almost rose gold jelly base is accented by color shifting flakes that show off shades of orange, gold, green, and at extreme angles, aqua. Micro holographic flakes catch the light for a color that really sparkles in the sun!" This is like my mannequin hands of this collection haha. It is close to my skin tone and I LOVE IT. The flakes pop off the base and the color is gorgeous.

Hanging With My Grill Friends: 3 coats. But 2 covers it. I did a third thin coat for more flakes! "Summer is here, and so is grilling season! With social distancing being easier to do outdoors, cookouts are a great way for friends to hang. Charcoal grills sizzle with meats and veggies, while cold drinks and good conversations help us to feel normal again. Hanging With My Grill Friends is a charcoal jelly packed full of color-shifting flakie goodness. From ember orange to searing hot golds and veggie greens, these flakes show off a rainbow of hues. Micro holo flakes ensure your manicure will be the envy of grill masters everywhere!" While this is not necessarily a summer color, I just love the rainbow flakes against the darker black, almost dark green base. I know I will pull this out for Halloween!

I did not show this entire collection matte, because you know it will be gorgeous. I did for this one polish since it was the last one I swatched. Obviously, these polishes are gorgeous matte!
