Zoya Jelly Brites, Swatches and Review

Press Sample

I cannot believe it is August already. LIKE WHAT?! I spent June on back to back road trips, so it was a blur. Came home from my trip and broke my foot that night! So I spent July nursing it basically haha and now it's August. This means my semester starts so soon, so I need to get my syllabi ready! Plus, I have like 20 more things I want to do before summer ends.

Anywho, Zoya Element for the Fall landed on my doorstep last week, so I figured I needed to show you the Jelly Brites that released last month! So let's get to this trio!

Zoya Jellie Brights, Swatches and Review

If you've been reading my blog, you know that I have a very opaque free edge. So to avoid being redundant, since these are jellies, they are sheer. On my nails, they will never be opaque, but that's okay! I'm a firm believer that I will never use more than 3 coats of polish, so that's what I did with these.

Molly: 3 coats. Jellies are super squishy and shiny, so none of these needed top coat. This is a red-leaning pink color and is very bright in person!

Paris: 3 coats. Compared to Molly, Paris is much more pink. Very squishy.

Alia: 3 coats. This one is a little streaky, so be more mindful when layering this. It's like a berry wine color and was a great base for art.

I did make a jelly sandwich with these (stay tuned this weekend), and I used Alia for loose powders HERE, and I know these will be great for lead-lighting art. Otherwise, my nails are just too opaque for these jellies to wear on their art, but they will be great for art!

  1. I’m really glad to see Zoya adding more jellies to their brand lineup. I hope they release more this year, hopefully in more fall-like shades!

  2. These are beautiful shades. I would gladly wear them except it would drive me nuts to have the visible line.

  6. I actually really like the jelly finish. I know some people dont' but it's just so darling to see the nail peeking through.
