My Indie Polish Blogger Exclusive and Lavender Chamomile Salve

Press Gift

I'm catching up on some Indie Expo Canada press gifts and this one from My Indie Polish deserved some attention. Thank goodness it was labeled as a thermal, because I had no idea! I always love the surprise of what color the thermal shift to! This is also my first polish with My Indie Polish, so let's get to it!

My Indie Polish Blogger Exclusive and Lavender Chamomile Salve

So this was a blogger exclusive, with no official name, that was gifted to me as press at Indie Expo.

Blogger Exclusive: 3 coats plus top coat. This is really a two coat polish but you can thank NYC heat and humidity for that. I feel like it's messing with me. At two coats, it was mostly opaque, just a little leveling issues because of humidity.

This is a dusty lavender polish with bits of shimmer. It transitions to a deeper grey color in its cool state. As I mentioned above and in previous thermal shift posts, it is hot hot hot. Because my index and middle nails are longer, you can see the shift very easily.

I had also received My Indie Polish's matte top coat, which is lovely! I dipped my hands in water to get the shift back because it was so hit!

I wanted to pose with the matte top coat. It's a nice matte for sure. You know I love my matte top coat, so I'll be reaching for this a lot!

Lastly, I have a mini sample of the lavender chamomile salve! I went to her site and apparently she grows the lavender. How cool! It's a nice calming and natural scent, and the salve felt really nice on my nails and hands.

Although this polish is not available, My Indie Polish has loads of polishes available in her shop, ranging around $15 CAD. The lavender chamomile salve retails for $5 CAD but it's a .5 oz tin vs my sample size.

  3. Pretty lavender. We get so carried away with sparkles that it's nice to remember just a beautiful shade - and then there's that great thermal.

  7. This polish looks absolutely gorgeous! I love the shift that it has and wish it wasn't a blogger exclusive. I also love that she grows her own lavender for the salve, that's so amazing.
