Sinful Colors Kandee Johnson Chevron Nail Art

Press Sample

If you're in the Northeast, you're gearing up for the huge blizzard coming our way tonight all through tomorrow. Looks like we will be getting 20 inches now! I've been transitioning into spring colors because, you know, it was 70 degrees last week. Here is a spring look I recently did playing with colors from the Pretty Vintage and Vintage Anime collection.

Honestly, I wasn't a huge fan of these sugar textures on their own so I wanted to play with them with nail art! Since I have zero patience for nail vinyls (if I don't wait 24 hours, the polish just rips off with the vinyls), I decided to do some freehand chevrons.

I began with a base of Dripping with Pearls, a gold shimmer from the Vintage Anime. I then topped it with top coat.

Then I added chevrons with the three sugar textures from the Pretty Vintage collection: Pink Sugar, Mint Sugar, and Pink Velvet. I let it remain textured again the shimmery base. Wow, I love these for nail art!

So what do you think of the play on different polish finishes? I quite like it!
