Hi All! I know I don't normally post on Sunday, but lots to share this month and literally not enough days! I'm showing you a brand called Hikari. This is from the brand as Be a Bombshell. I'm not really sure the difference between the brands, but I got to try out two product!
| Hikari Jessica Eyeshadow Quad and Twilight Eye Crayon |
I have an eye crayon and an eyeshadow quad. The packaging is fairly simple with a black base and white lettering. I don't mind it but it's nothing fancy.

Jessica Eyeshadow Quad: $15.

This quad drew to me because of that orange shadow! The palette is a nice fall palette but the other three colors are colors that I wear year round.

The colors don't have individual names but here are arm swatches. I did two swipes with my finger. I love the two lighter colors for bases to blend in the deeper brown/eggplant and orange. They has nice coverage and blended well.

Eye Crayon in Twilight: $13. I love eye crayons. I have a huge collection from Kiko and they are amazing. This crayon is very different from the Kiko formula. I expected a pigmented blue matte shadow but instead it's a very wet, almost greasy formula. It's very sheer and didn't last. You can see on my arm, it just didn't want to dry down.

Hikari is currently available online. I really like the eyeshadow quad but the eye crayon just wasn't for me.

It's a shame the eye crayon didn't last because it is such a beautiful shade of blue.
ReplyDeleteI do have a similar shade from Kiko and it's much more pigmented and more eyeshadow like. This one was more waxy.
DeleteToo bad about the eye crayon, because I Love those. I like the shadow palette!
ReplyDeleteThat's unfortunate about the crayon, it's gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThat orange shade is so pretty! Shame about the pencil, it looked like it would have been a fun color to wear.
