Chanukah Ugly Sweater Nail Art

Nothing to Disclose

Every year, I try to come up with fun Chanukah nail art. Chanukah doesn't have as much imagery as Christmas, and I searched for a Chanukah plate and failed. Target and other stores released uglly sweaters for Chanukah last year and I loved it! I bought one and turned out, it lit up! Anyway, I wanted to pull out some old school polishes and create an ugly sweater look!

So this would have probably been better with creme polishes, but something came over me to use my old Julie G texture polishes from 3-4 years ago! I started with a base of Silver Bells and used Sleigh Ride, Blueberry Fizz, and Golden Rings to create my look.

I used Sleigh Ride to draw dreidels in the center of my nail. Then I used Golden Rings and Blueberry Fizz to make an "ugly" sweater with squiggles and stuff. I'm not sure how else to explain it! It was super shiny though, so I toned it down with matte top coat...which wasn't very matte hahah but it made the design more visible!

So what do you think of my "Chanukah ugly sweater" nails? Chanukah is until January 1st, so I have time to still post more but I really wanted to get one look up before it starts!

  2. That turned out perfect! I love the colors and that you used Julie G textured polishes. Remember how crazy we are trying to find those when they first came out?

  4. This Chanukah mani turned out great and remind me of how much I miss not having a Rite Aid anymore more for my Julie Gs!
