Impala Radiance and Sunshine Glitter Swatches

Press Sample

I've shown some Impala polishes on my blog before and today, I'm sharing two glitters from their new glitter collection that was from this past summer. They are pretty basic in terms of coloring, but it might be great for someone who wants a little sparkle.

Impala Radiance and Sunshine Glitter Swatches

Radiance 146: 1 coat dabbed over Zoya August. This is a basic pink metallic glitter with small and medium black hex glitter. The base is very runny, so I had clear base all over my cuticles. Make sure you really get off the base before applying or it will be a mess. As you can see, the base drowns the glitter, so this would never become opaque.

Sunshine 150: 1 coat over Zoya Genevieve. This is a gold shimmer polish with gold holo glitter in it. You want to apply with a light hand or the shimmer is too frosty. I don't mind the shimmer but I feel like the holo glitters just don't work with it.

Now the smell. I gather these might not be 3 or 5 free, but I really don't know since the person who provided the polish has not contacted me back. The previous polishes I've used by them did not smell unusual for polish, but these definitely had a strong scent. Use with caution in a ventilated room.

Honestly, these would have been great if they came out in 2011 or 2012. At this rate in the polish world, we know there are much more complex ways to create glitter polishes. These were very bare bones, and I would want something more special. For someone new to polish, these might be nice! This specific collection can be found HERE.

  1. oh. The smell is a deal breaker for me. Is it better or worse than KleanColor?

    1. Would say not as bad as Kleancolor. Maybe like an old OPI? It's not horrific but I felt I had to mention the smell.

  2. My Kleancolor make me feel sick, the smell is awful, but I love the colours.

  3. The glitter looks cute, but the idea of a smell makes me hesitant.

  6. The smell is a complete turn off. I don't want to suffer through a migraine just to do my nails. It's a shame.

  8. I definitely agree about the glitters in Sunshine 150, it'd look so much better with just the shimmer.
