Bone China Nail Art with OPI

Partial Press Sample

So today is my parent's wedding anniversary! Last year, I did jade and coral nail art for their 35th anniversary so I decided to do art again for their anniversary this year! 36th anniversary is Bone China. I know what Bone China is, but google helped me to decide on a lacy neutral design. 36 years married is a wonderful accomplishment, so I'm always happy to celebrate with them!

So Bone China is china made with bone ash....ya, they don't really do that anymore, so it's really just any sort of fine china. Bone China usually has some nice wavy detail, so I went with a stamp that was simpler like a dish design.

The polishes I used included a base of OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls, stamped with OPI My Vampire is Buff, Zoya Sue, and Paint Box Polish Snowy Evening. I just sort of stamped over each time for layers but it was hard to line up since the colors were so light.

I used the Moyra Ornaments plate for this image (full review to come!). The Ornaments plates has a ton of lacy designs that remind me of fancy dishware.

I wanted to see it matte. Vampire is Buff really shows through with it matte and it sort of looks quilted.

The result is sort of subtle, but really pretty. This is actually a cool wedding nails design!

Well, cheers to another year of marriage for my parents!
