Baroness X The Lost Coast Collection, Swatches and Review

Press Sample

Today I'm sharing the new fall collection from Baroness X, The Lost Coast collection. The nail polish collection consists of 5 polishes that is inspired by Fort Bragg and Northern California. I've heard about some of these locations, but haven't gotten a chance to visit, so seeing the inspiration through polishes is so fun!

Baroness X The Lost Coast Collection, Swatches and Review

Glass Beach: 2-3 coats. If you have shorter nails, you will accomplish two coats. This is based on Glass Beach by Fort Bragg, which I've heard all about! This beach has tons of sea glass due to pollution from years beautiful and it's rather beautiful. The glitters in the polish are definitely the colors of sea glass and the holo base reminds me a sparkly sand. Everything lays flat and smooth.

Sequoia Gigantea: 2 coats. This is inspired by the redwood trees which are so beautiful! It's a brown helly polish with color shifting shimmer and flakes. Totally like a sunrise peeking through the trees. This is a perfect fall brown and the specks of flakes make it so earthy and pretty.

Penumbra: 2 coats plus top coat. This polish dried a little dull so top coat helped it sparkle. It's a denim blue holo with silver flecks that is inspired by the ocean. This polish is so lush for a holo. Even indoors, it shined. Denim blue is perfect for the fall also.

Kalidotide:  1 coat sponged over Gleam. Kalidotide is the topper in this collection. It's inspired by abalone shells and if you google a photo, you will see how spot on this is! It's a green to purple shifting polish with pink glass flakies, clear indigo microglitter and various orange to green shifting glitter. This polish comes with a makeup sponge, as that is the best way to apply this polish. By sponging, the shifting glitter seem to awaken.

Baroness X Kalidotide: 1 coat  over Penumbra. I wanted to see this over a darker color. Same application as above, but I love it over a darker color!

Gleam: 2 coats plus top coat.  This is inspired by the sun reflecting off the water. Gleam is a pale blue scattered holo base with a golden shimmer, green microflakies and holo microglitter. It's so ethereal and perfect. I absolutely love this color. Baroness X has got her blues down!

Next, I have two bath and body products from Baroness X, a foot scrub and matte hand lotion. If you like foodie scents, you will love the buttered rum scent. It reminds me of butterscotch. If you purchase the full size collection, you will receive these items as well. Both were moisturizing and the scent is very strong.

Baroness X Nail Polish has won me over! This collection is so unique and I can say I haven't seen a collection like this before!

The first 50 people to purchase the entire set will receive a 4oz fizzy, salty foot soak called "Salty Dogs" and a 2 oz hand lotion both are a Hot Buttered Rum scent. (a $70 value including extras and shipping). A mini set (8ml sizes) is available for $30 for a short period of time.
