Born Pretty is a great place for all things nails art! I've been reviewing and purchasing from them for years. Although shipping takes a while, it's a great resource for nail art. So I decided to try out some nail stencils, and well, let's see how I did.

I chose a zebra/giraffe like stencil to try out. I thought it would be awesome! Well, not so awesome. The stencil itself is easy-to-use and comes pre-weeded. I think the issue are my nails, which are curved, and the small details of the stencil. I tried it on my nails and this way and you could barely see the design. It could have also been my color palette.

Then I tested it on my Uber mat, which was a fail, because the stencil picked up the entire sheet of polish. DUH. Not sure why I did that. Then I finally tried it on a nail wheel. It worked a bit better, but I'm still not impressed with the design. This could totally be user error, but this wasn't an item that worked for me. I think if you have flat nails, you'll have more success. I just don't use stencils often. There are photos from other reviewers who seemed to have more success with this design, but you're essentially getting just lines.

There are SO many other stencil designs that Born Pretty carries. I was impressed with the quality of the vinyl and the tab at the end makes it easier to use. I just didn't love the look of this design. There are other ones that you can find HERE that will probably work better. The vinyls come in a set of 10 for $3.99.
