Abstract Turkey Feathers Nail Art

Nothing to Disclose

I just wanted to show you what I wore on Thanksgiving, because it's abstract, yet totally perfect for the holiday and autumn all together! It also sort of reminds me of flames. I had to include my family's turkey plates in the collage; they belonged to my great-great grandmother!

I did a base of two coats of Butter London Scuppered and did one coat of top coat. After I let my polish dry for a few minutes, I used a striping brush and randomly painted turkey feathers from my cuticle in a variety of texture polishes. Some of the texture polishes I used were: Zoya Chita, Zoya Chyna, Zoya Solange, Julie G Gift of Gold, Julie G Sugar Rush, Finger Paints Enchanted Winter, and more. I basically picked colors that reminded me of autumn. I love the texture polish against the shimmer of my base.

I wanted to do cutesy turkeys like I did two years ago, but then I wasn't feeling it. This is more of an adult Thanksgiving manicure and sometimes, I prefer the simpler looks!
