Jessica Cosmetics Autumn in New York Collection: Swatches and Review

We are rolling deep into fall now and although I'm not quite ready for dark colors, the current fall nail polish collections are pushing me towards them! The Autumn in New York collection rings home, since it's a collection about where I grew up! This collection consists of 5 cremes and one to-die-for shimmer, so check out my swatches below.

Just as a disclaimer, I did not use top coat on any of the polishes. Most of them are super shiny and level off really well.

NY State of Mind: two coats. This is a stunning grey creme that is absolute perfection. This is a one coater but I used two for photos. It has a buttery formula and is just the perfect grey. I'm telling you.

Meet at the Plaza: two coats. This is an army green creme with full coverage. Again, a buttery creme formula that goes on perfectly.

Soho in Love: two coats (but needs three). This is a great cream creme polish. I think it's really flattering on my skin tone. I used two coats because I knew I was putting glitter over it for another manicure, but you probably need three to level it out. It's an amazing base for glitter.

Blue Harlem: two coats. Blue Harlem is actually purple but with the second coat it pulls off as a blurple. You can see on my ring finger the purple base. This one is almost like a jelly. Super shiny.

Mad for Madison: two coats. This is a rich chocolate brown, more like dark chocolate than milk chocolate Same great creme formula, I've already used it quite a bit!

Broadway Bound: two coats. This stunning poppy red is the only non creme of the collection. The shimmer is subtle in the shade but prominent in the sun. This can easily be a one coater. I love the pop of bright with the darker cremes. This one is amazing.

The Autumn in New York collection is available now on their web site and retail for $8.40. My top picks are NY State of Mind, Soho Love, and Broadway Bound but it's really a great, cohesive collection.
