When I saw this plate, all I could see was the polar bear astronaut. Isn't that ridiculous and awesome? I also thought of Perseids from the Stella Chroma Fall Mattes. When I reviewed this polish, I mentioned it was the perfect galaxy polish, and I didn't lie. This manicure was easy and seamless and packs a punch!

I have to say, I love New Orleans, so the inspirations excite me! I went to Mardi Gras (actually, for an academic conference LOL) in 2011 and I love the city! I love the small city feel, the culture, and seriously would consider living there.

Pam of Girly Bits is expecting not one, but two grandbabies! One was actually born a few days ago, even though she was due yesterday (the release of this trio!). The other is due in February. How exciting?! To commemorate this event, she created a lovely trio of thermals. I love thermals but I feel like I'm never an even temperature. I love to read a variety of beauty blogs to hear about new-to-me companies, new products, and so much more. I say I'm a beauty blogger, but this blog is 85% nails, and I really want to vary that up this year. I was reading Never Say Die Beauty and she posted about Cremeplexion, a facial moisturizer. I made a comment on the post (you can scroll down and see!) and the owner offered to send me a sample. WOW. When I e-mailed her and mentioned I would post the sample on my blog, she said she would send a full size. Talk about being proactive as an owner of a company! I don't think anyone has every offered me a free sample, no questions asked, based on a comment on a blog post. If this isn't telling you good things already, let's get to the product.
