So my man gives me a suggestion for nail art, I'm going to do it! Have you ever heard of nesting dolls, where smaller dolls reside in each doll? They are most popular in countries like Russia! My mom had bought one when she went to Russia last year and shared one with me. So my darling said "hey, do nesting penguins!" And I was like YES.

I used Stella Chroma Poppies as my base, as it is an icy blue with gorgeous iridescent flakes.  This polish is stunning but sadly, it is no longer available as it was a Polish Pickup polish. I feel like this polish is great for spring and for winter!

I wanted to do increasing in size penguins, just like nesting dolls. I used Zoya Snow White and outlined the white part of the penguin. I decided I wanted shimmery penguins and added a coat of Morgan Taylor My Yacht, My Rules. Then after that, I used KBShimmer Eclipse to outline the black part of the penguin's body. The orange nose is Jessica Cosmetics Sahara Sun and the cheeks are Morgan Taylor All About the Pout.

Well, this is a nice way to end January. I feel like I have a lot of cutesy colors and Valentine's Day art coming up and then boom, it's spring (I have two spring collections already!). So bye to winter nail art, even though it's freezing here and winter is just starting LOL.
